MALIBU, Calif. - Pepperdine's Jonas Berg survived the second round of the consolation bracket at the Sherwood Intercollegiate Invitational in Westlake Village, Calif., Saturday defeating Jon Wong (Stanford), 6-4, 6-1, and will move on to face Baylor's Greg Shearer Sunday at 11:00 a.m. (PT).

Ivor Lovrak defeated Stanford's Dave Ryan, 7-5, 6-1, in round one of the consolation bracket and was in the lead during the second round before having to retire from the match with an undisclosed injury. Kevin Borzenski was defeated in straight sets by Phil Kao (Stanford), 6-1, 6-2, in his first-round match.

The doubles team of Berg/Lovrak fell to Baylor's Michael Kokta and Lars Poerschke, 8-6.
