- In the biggest fall tournament of the year, Pepperdine's doubles team of Pedro Rico and Scott Doerner defeated Middle Tennessee's Marco Born and Andreas Silijestrom 8-5 to advance to the round of 16 at the Icy Hot ITA All American in Chattanooga, Tenn.

In singles action, Doerner fell in straight sets to Alabama's 6-2, 6-2, while Rico, the tournament's No. 8 seed, does not begin bracket play until Thursday against an as yet to be determined opponent.

The doubles team will be back in action tomorrow morning at 10:00 (PDT) as it squares off against the team of David Robinson and Paul Rose from Purdue.
