Sophomore All-American Carolina Llano registered her third Top 10 finish in three tournaments this season when she tied for ninth place at the Pepsi Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday. Llano carded a 54-hole score of 2-under par 214 at the par-72, 6,107-yard Stanford Golf Course.
Top-ranked Duke won the team title after posting a three-round tournament score of 19-under par 845 to finish five shots ahead of Washington, which completed play a 14-under par 850. UCLA (859) placed fourth, followed by California (869) and New Mexico (875).
Pepperdine finished 12th in the 18-team field with a tournament score of 907.
No 1-ranked Elizabeth Janangelo of Duke and Arizona's Erica Blasberg tied for individual medallist honors with a 54-hole totals of 7-under par 209. Washington's Paige Mackenzie (210) was third, followed by Duke's Virada Nirapathpongporn (211) and California's Sarah Huarte.
Junior Rachel Kyono tied for 33rd with a 6-over par score of 222, while freshman Eileen Vargas tied for 42nd with an 8-over par total of 224.
Pepperdine is off until November 2 when it begins play in the Hooters Collegiate Match Play Championships at the Dye Golf Club at Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
