Conor McCorry joined Pepperdine Athletics in June 2025 as Director of Athletic Communications.
In his role, he serves as the primary media contact and sports information director for the men's basketball, water polo, women's golf and women's tennis programs.
Prior to coming to Malibu, McCorry spent three years at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He joined Army in August 2022 as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications before being promoted to Senior Assistant Director in December 2022.
In his role at West Point, he served as the primary media contact for the hockey, women's lacrosse, men's tennis and cheer & dance programs while spending three seasons as the secondary contact for the football program with heavy involvement in the media coordination of the Army-Navy game. Throughout his tenure, he also saw seasons as the primary contact for the men's soccer, gymnastics, women's rugby, swimming & diving and track & field programs.
Army and McCorry were named one of 11 recipients of the Football Writers Association of America annual
Super 11 Award for the 2024 season. The award honors football programs and sports information departments that exemplify excellence in media relations. The honor marked the first time ever that the Army communications office received the award.

Uncle Joe. He also helped promote Army football's Bryson Daily to a sixth-place finish in the Heisman Trophy voting in 2024 and Army hockey's Mac Gadowsky as the program's first ever Hobey Baker Award Top-10 Finalist in 2025.
Prior to West Point, McCorry served in a graduate assistant role at Harvard University, where he was the primary media contact for the men's and women's water polo, women's rugby and skiing programs, along with serving as the secondary contact for men's basketball.
During his tenure in Cambridge, McCorry received
Division I Women's Sports Information Director of the Year by the Collegiate Water Polo Association for his work with the Harvard women's water polo team and their run to the program's first ever conference championship game appearance. The award came in the spring after he received
Northeast Water Polo Conference Sports Information Director of the Year from the CWPA in the fall for his work with the men's water polo program.
McCorry graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Media and Information Technology and minor in Political Science from Cortland in 2020. He would go on to earn his master's degree in Sport Management, also from Cortland.
McCorry is a native of Wappingers Falls, New York and currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
