HIGH SCHOOL: Played four varsity seasons at Cypress Woods High School under head coach Virginia Flores ... Helped lead Cypress Woods to a 5-A Region III final as a senior last year ... Averaged 15 points per game as a senior and over 10 ppg each prep year ... Cypress Woods had two 30-win seasons during her tenure and compiled a total of 117 wins in her four years ... Team was ranked third in the state both her junior and senior years ... Named All-District first team each of her four years ... Was an All-State honoree and team captain as a senior ... Was also a prep volleyball standout, posting 277 kills and 115 total blocks in three years.

CLUB: Played for the Cyfair Shock Nike Elite team ... Team won the 2013 Nike National Championship.

PERSONAL: Born in Cypress Texas to Ify and Peter Ogwumike ... Has three sisters, Nneka, Chiney and Erica ... Sisters Nneka and Chiney both played collegiately at Stanford, Nneka was drafted number one by the LA Sparks in 2012 and Chiney was drafted number one in 2014 by the Connecticut Sun ... Hopes to become a radiologist after graduation ... Chose Pepperdine because, "I enjoy the balance of academics and athletics."
