HIGH SCHOOL: Played two years of varsity baseball at Canyon High School under coach Mike Najera … Over his career, compiled 103 innings pitched, 88 Strikeouts and a 2.00 ERA … During his senior year, he was awarded Canyon Pitcher of the Year, Under Armour Pre-Season All-American and was selected to play in the OC All-Star Game.
CLUB: Played for the A’s Scout team for two years and played with Trombly Baseball for four years.
PERSONAL: Born in Mission Viejo, Calif. to parents Douglas and Mischa King … Younger Brother to Garret … Is studying business administration at Pepperdine … Chose Pepperdine because “When I went on my visit, I met the coaches and thought they were awesome and a perfect fit for me. It is also a great academic school, and the location cannot be beat.”
