Mahanth Chirravuri Named to Haskins Award Postseason Watch List

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Haskins Foundation has announced 15 finalists for the Haskins Award Postseason Watch List, and Pepperdine's Mahanth Chirravuri is among the names listed.
The award is named after Fred Haskins, a club professional that spent his life nurturing and mentoring amateur golfers. The foundation, based in Columbus, Ga., oversees the voting for the Haskins Award conducted among college golfers, coaches and college golf media. Past winners of the Haskins Award presented by Stifel have captured 33 major championships and more than 400 professional tournaments around the world. Beginning in 1971, the Fred Haskins Award presented by Stifel is annually given to the top male U.S. collegiate D1 golfer as voted on by players, coaches, members of the college golf media, and past Haskins Award winners.
Each Watch List is unique and a player does not need to appear on a previous watch list to be considered for any future watch lists.

The 10 Finalists for the 2025-2026 season will be announced on Friday, May 22, 2026. In addition, Haskins Honors will once again be held at Grand Blanc Maison on Wednesday, May 27th for the 10 finalists and their coach. This special evening will be hosted by the Haskins Foundation, The Back of the Range, The College World Golf Championships Foundation, and the 1971-1973 Haskins Award winner, Ben Crenshaw.

From the seaside town of Liverpool to a quaint Donald Ross course in Georgia, Fred Haskins built a reputation for mentoring young golfers. Haskins was head professional at the Country Club of Columbus for 34 years, recommended for the position by the legendary Bobby Jones.
