No. 14 Men's Golf Completes Second Round of NCAA Championships

CARLSBAD, Calif. - No. 14 Pepperdine men's golf wrapped up round two of the NCAA Championships Saturday afternoon.
Following the second round, No. 1 Auburn is atop the leaderboard after shooting a whopping 16-under, while Arizona's Filip Jakubcik paces the individual leaderboard at 10-under.

Senior Mahanth Chirravuri shot two-under for the afternoon, improving to four-under in the tournament. He tallied three birdies on the front nine and canceled out a pair of bogeys on 12 and 13 with birdies on 10 and 17.
Willy Walsh impressed with a 31-spot leap on the leaderboard, shooting three-under in round two, improving to two-under for the tournament. With exception to a double-bogey on eight, Walsh was bogey-free and caught fire on a warm Carlsbad afternoon, sinking four birdies on the back nine. He ended his day with an exceptional putt on 18 to card a 32 on the back nine and a 69 for the round.
Byungho Lee was three-over in round two, improving by a stroke from his round one performance. His scorecard looked relatively similar, with three bogeys and two birdies, with the outlier being a double-bogey on 12 that made the biggest difference.
Brady Siravo was consistent overall again but was hampered by a pair of double-bogeys on 3 and 18.
Pepperdine will tee off at 7:25 a.m. pacific. Fans can follow in real time via live stats, with the option to also stream the game at this link through Babygrande Golf, which will carry live coverage from 12:30-7:30 p.m. pacific.
