Nine Waves Earn MPSF Women's Indoor Track All-Academic Team Honors

Pepperdine's honorees include Lia Cooper, Lizzy Crawford, Ashley Eagan, Kelly Prunzik, Kayla Renner, Grace Simpson, Renee Skiera, Mia Skuraton and Lexi Thomas.
The MPSF All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have excelled both in competition and in the classroom. To qualify, nominees must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically, complete one full academic year at their institution and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitions.
Pepperdine's nine selections reflect the program's continued commitment to academic excellence, with representation across multiple class years and academic fields.
Crawford and Eagan have also each now earned a spot on the MPSF's All-Academic Team in consecutive seasons. Crawford also earned a spot on the 2025 West Coast Conference Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team in the fall, while Eagan and Simpson received honorable mention.

ABOUT PEPPERDINE CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK
The Pepperdine cross country/track program has a rich history dating back to the 1950s with six total individual national championships to come through the program. As one of the original three programs sponsored by then George Pepperdine College in 1937, the Waves immediately began to make a mark on the track world stage with eight total Olympians and multiple regional champions throughout the program's history.Â
