SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Pepperdine beach volleyball (24-14) has earned the No. 2 seed in the West Coast Conference (WCC) Tournament, the conference announced today. Action is set for April 23 and 24 at the Ocean Park Beach in nearby Santa Monica.
The Waves begin their conquest for conference glory Thursday against No. 7 Portland (4-21) at 11:30 a.m. If they win, they would face the winner of No. 3 Saint Mary's (25-10) and No. 6 Pacific (3-25) later that day at 3:15 p.m. If the orange and blue were to falter versus the Pilots, they would match-up with the loser of the Gaels and Tigers scrum, Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
The championship game is set for Friday at 1:30 p.m.Â
More information regarding the bracket and schedule can be found at the WCC Tournament Central here. The website also hosts ESPN+ links for each match.
The Waves have already faced Portland and Saint Mary's this season, besting the Gaels 4-1 twice and sweeping the Pilots. They have not encountered Pacific yet, but historically hold an unblemished 8-0 series record.
Boasting a ranking of eighth in the national poll, Loyola Marymount (26-10) was awarded the top seed and a first-round bye.Â
Last year, Pepperdine finished in the semifinals of the 2025 WCC tournament, falling to the Lions and Santa Clara Broncos.Â
