SAN BRUNO, Calif. — No. 9 Pepperdine women's golf sophomore Eunseo Choi has been named West Coast Conference (WCC) Women's Golfer of the Month, announced today by the conference.
Choi logged a top-15 finish in all three tournaments played during the month of March, including her second collegiate tournament victory at the Fresno State Classic. Overall, she recorded a scoring average of 72.11 across her nine rounds played during the month, pacing the Waves who took home two team titles in the process.
Beginning at the Fresno State Classic, Choi earned the individual title by three strokes, finishing 6-under par with rounds of 69-72-69. She paced the Waves who were able to take home the team victory by over 40 strokes, finishing -11 as a team.
Choi then posted another top-5 individual finish at the Yale Invitational West, placing fourth with a 5-under mark for the tournament. She shot under par in all three rounds, firing a 71 in the opening round before logging consecutive rounds of 2-under 70s. The Waves were able to edge out Kansas to win the team title by two strokes, marking consecutive tournament wins for the program.
Wrapping up the month at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, Choi had a 15th-place individual finish among an elite field in Austin. Choi finished +12 across her three rounds (80-76-72), keeping pace with the field throughout as treacherous weather conditions plagued the opening two rounds. The Waves finished in fifth-place as a team and now enter the postseason ranked in the top-10 in the The Differential Rankings, Scoreboard Rankings and the MGCA Coaches Poll.
Choi has placed top-20 in seven of eight tournaments played in the 2025-26 season, including top-15 finishes in four of Pepperdine's five spring tournaments. The reigning WCC Freshman of the Year, Choi currently sits at No. 31 in the Scoreboard individual rankings.
Choi and the Waves will return for the WCC Championships, held from April 25-27 at the Fairfield Country Club in Fairfield, Calif.
