Eunseo Choi Tabbed to Annika Award Preseason Watch List

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Haskins Foundation announced the 2026-27 Annika Award Preseason Watch List, presented by Stifel, in conjunction with media partners Golfweek, Golf Channel, and The Back of The Range.

The Watch List is just the first of many that will be announced throughout the golf season. Pepperdine will begin its 2026-27 campaign on September 14 at the Branch Law Firm/McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Eunseo Choi was selected to the Watch List, representing one of four juniors on a Pepperdine squad that doesn't have a senior this year. The 2026 Golfweek Third Team All-American and reigning WCC Player of the Year finished 18th in the individual rankings after the blue and orange reached the NCAA Quarterfinals before falling to No. 1 Stanford in match play in the spring.

Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award is annually given to the top female Division One collegiate golfer; the winner voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named for Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top female golfer and to match the Haskins Award, which acknowledges the top male Division I collegiate golfer. Farah O'Keefe became the 13th ANNIKA Award winner in 2026.

About Fred Haskins and the Haskins Foundation
From the seaside town of Liverpool to a quaint Donald Ross course in Georgia, Fred Haskins built a reputation for mentoring young golfers. Haskins was head professional at the Country Club of Columbus for 34 years, recommended for the position by the legendary Bobby Jones. His proteges learned the game in Saturday morning classes that cost a nickel. They went on to win more than 150 collegiate and amateur tournaments. Pepperdine women's golf has consistently been one of the top collegiate programs in the country under head coach Laurie Gibbs, exemplified by the current streak of 27 straight seasons with an NCAA Regional appearance.
