Pepperdine to Introduce Men's Basketball Head Coach Griff Aldrich at April 7 Press Conference

MALIBU, Calif. — Pepperdine Athletics has announced that an introductory press conference for new men's basketball head coach Griff Aldrich will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at 3 p.m. in the Seaver Board Room. The event is open to the public.

Aldrich was named head coach of the men's basketball program on March 26th, taking the reins in Malibu after successful stints at Virginia, Longwood and UMBC, having helped lead each program to the NCAA Tournament.

The afternoon will include a formal press conference beginning at 3 p.m. in the Seaver Board Room in Thornton Administrative Center, followed by a dessert reception at 4 p.m. Visitor parking is available along Banowsky Blvd or Seaver Drive, at the Theme Tower Lot in a visitor spot, which requires a coin token (provided by the Public Safety Officer at the guard booth), or at Firestone Fieldhouse.

Pepperdine President Jim Gash, Director of Athletics Tanner Gardner and Aldrich will deliver remarks at the press conference, followed by a media question-and-answer session.

Fans, supporters and members of the Pepperdine community are encouraged to attend as the Waves welcome Aldrich to Malibu and usher in a new era of men's basketball.
