MALIBU, Calif. - David Fix has been named the West Coast Conference Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, as announced by the WCC this afternoon. It's the first time he has earned the honor.
Fix was sensational in two wins (three matches) for the Waves, helping clinch the victory over No. 39 Yale last Wednesday with a three-set win over the Bulldogs' Ethan Chung (6-4, 4-6, 6-2). On Sunday at No. 33 Middle Tennessee, the sophomore from Germany rallied from a 0-4 deficit in the third set to take down Eric Crivei (1-6, 6-4, 6-4), clinching the win for Pepperdine again.

The Waves return to action starting this Friday at the UTR Collegiate Championships at BNP in Indian Wells, California.
