Track's Lizzy Crawford Helps Pepperdine Score Points on Day One of MPSF Indoor Championships

RENO, Nev. –  Pepperdine track scored eight points on day one of the MPSF Indoor Championships. Lizzy Crawford finished second in the 5K (16:51.31) to give the Waves their sum of points.
ÂCrawford's run was valuable in more ways than one. Her sub-17 minute time also set a new Pepperdine program record in the event. Lizzy has now set a program record in each of the three meets she has run during the young 2026 season.
ÂAdison Moore repped the Waves in the 200 dash. She crossed the finish line at 25.23. Behind her were Mia Skuraton (25.73) and Lia Cooper (25.86).
ÂThe lone relay action of day one was in the 4K DMR. Grace Simpson, Kayla Renner, Ashley Eagan, and Lizzy Crawford finished top ten at 12:17.95.
ÂTomorrow the women are back in action to run the mile, 400 dash, 800 run, and end things off with the 4x400 relay.
ÂUC Irvine currently headlines the standings with a combined 75.50 points.

ÂABOUT PEPPERDINE CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK
The Pepperdine cross country/track program has a rich history dating back to the 1950s with six total individual national championships to come through the program. As one of the original three programs sponsored by then George Pepperdine College in 1937, the Waves immediately began to make a mark on the track world stage with eight total Olympians and multiple regional champions throughout the program's history.Â
