EDINBURG, Texas – Pepperdine Swim & Dive wrapped day two of the MPSF Championships today. The team currently sits in sixth place.
The Waves competed in one final on Thursday and capitalized on the opportunity. Anna Ryan, Kylie Taylor, Aliyah Fan, and Maile Sullivan set a new program record in the 200 medley relay. They finished sixth. Fan has now added her name to three program records during her short time in the Rio Grande Valley.
Pepperdine competed in four other events on the day.
- Emma Guglielmello earned 19th in the 500 free (5:02.02)
- Kiana Fan headlined the Waves in the 200 IM (2:06.77)
- Maile Sullivan was Pepperdine's top finisher in the 50 free (23.80)
- Jackie Johnson came in 11th in the 3-meter dive (246.25)

Tomorrow is set to be a busy day for the Waves. The schedule includes prelims in the 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free, 100 breast, and 100 back.

Pepperdine swimming & diving has a rich history spanning four decades, having posted top-five finishes in its conference in 32 of 39 seasons. The Waves have captured three conference championships in the past four seasons, its first three conference titles, winning its first MPSF Championship in 2025 after joining the conference the season prior. In 38 seasons in the PCSC, the Waves saw 48 individual champions and 20 PCSC Swimmer or Diver of the Year awards. Andreea Trufasu stands as the program's lone Olympian, having competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
