MALIBU, Calif. – Coming off an undefeated weekend at the Malibu Invite last week, the Pepperdine beach volleyball team will stay at home for four games this weekend.

DUAL #12 — Pepperdine (5-6) vs. South Florida | Friday, Mar. 21 | 9 a.m. | Pepperdine Beach Volleyball Courts | Malibu, Calif.

DUAL #13 — Pepperdine vs. Concordia (12-7) | Friday, Mar. 21 | 1 p.m. | Pepperdine Beach Volleyball Courts | Malibu, Calif.

SOUTH FLORIDA — The Bulls program is in its first year of existence and is playing an exhibition only schedule during the 2025 season. Although South Florida's games against Pepperdine will count as exhibitions for the Bulls, the contests will count as regular season games for the Waves.

CONCORDIA — This season, Concordia is 8-7 and has received votes in the last three weekly AVCA rankings. Pepperdine is 7-1 all-time against Concordia, but the Waves lone loss to the Golden Eagles came less than three weeks ago at the Battle 4 L.A. Concordia will play two contests on Wednesday before they head to Malibu.

VANGUARD — Pepperdine is 4-0 all-time against the Lions, having swept them in all four of their meetings, including the season opener this year. This season, Vanguard is 8-7, but will head into Sunday's contest on a four-game losing streak.

ABOUT PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY — Pepperdine boasts a one-of-a-kind athletic department with unprecedented success for a school of its size. The Waves have won NCAA Division I championships in five different men's sports — one of just 20 schools to have accomplished this feat — and 10 overall. Of this elite group, Pepperdine has the smallest undergraduate enrollment, is the only school without football and is the only university that has not been affiliated with a "major" conference. The Waves have won a total of 26 team or individual national championships in their history. Pepperdine has also earned the Division I-AAA All-Sports Trophy, an award based on postseason success that's given to the top non-football school, four times (most recently in 2022-23). Located in scenic Malibu, California, the university overlooks the Pacific Ocean and its campus and athletic facilities are regularly voted among the nation's most beautiful. Pepperdine, which is affiliated with the Church of Christ, ranks #80 overall on U.S. News and World Report's list of America's best colleges.
