SPOKANE, Wash. – Freshman Danilo Dozic led the Waves in scoring but the Pepperdine men's basketball team fell 107-55 to Gonzaga Saturday night.

• Danilo Dozic (Belgrade, Serbia) matched his career-high in scoring with 12 while earning four rebounds, three assists and a steal.
• Boubacar Coulibaly (Bamako, Mali/USC) put together 11 points, five boards, three blocks and a steal.
• Stefan Todorovic (Belgrade, Serbia/SMU/USF) scored 10 points, grabbed three rebounds and recorded an assist.

 
KEY STATS

• Gonzaga outshot the Waves 57-29% from the field and 46-27% from beyond the arc.
• The Zags also won the rebound battle at 52-31.

 
RECAP
Gonzaga hit back-to-back threes to open the game, but a Boubacar Coulibaly dunk got the Waves on the board in Spokane. The Zags had their way early, going on a 14-2 run between Coulibaly dunks before a Danilo Dozic three again split the scoring. Pepperdine's offense found its footing at the six-minute mark as the Waves bigs produced inside and the teams traded baskets until the one-minute mark. The Zags closed out the first half with a 7-0 run, putting Pepperdine in a 55-26 rut at the break.
 
The Waves opened the second half with a Dozic jumper and a Stefan Todorovic three to follow, but Gonzaga came back out swinging and pushed the lead to 33 before the first media timeout. Pepperdine's defense was able to string several stops together, capitalized by a Coulibaly dunk-and-one assisted by Dozic. The Zags took control the rest of the way, however, rolling through a 21-3 run on their way to an 107-55 final.
