Pepperdine Baseball Releases 2026 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif.  — Twenty-six home games and three series against postseason teams headline the 2026 Pepperdine baseball schedule, which was released Monday.

"Our 2026 schedule, like every year, is as competitive as anyone on the West Coast," Tyler LaTorre, who is entering his second year as the head coach of the Waves, said. "At Pepperdine, we pride ourselves on high standards and a commitment to excellence through strong Christian values."

"We had a great fall of competitive development, team building, and excelled on and off the field," LaTorre added. "Our players' consistent relentlessness of accountability and servant leadership has prepared them to elevate our program day in and day out. Our program looks to continue to build off of a foundation from last year, with the addition of 21 new players, highlighted by 11 freshmen and 10 transfers. Our returning players have been great stewards of Waves Baseball and are looking forward to February as we gear up for the 2026 season."

The Waves will play 24 home games at Eddy D. Field Stadium. Season tickets start at $99 per person ($109 after fees) and can be purchased here. All updates and pertinent information can be found on the baseball team's schedule page on pepperdinewaves.com.

Pepperdine kicks off its season across town with a three-game series at USC (Feb. 13-15), one of five 2025 postseason teams the Waves will face in 2026.

The 2026 home opener will be Feb. 17 against UC Santa Barbara. First pitch at scenic Eddy D. Field is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

From there, Pepperdine heads north to take on the defending Mountain West Conference champion Fresno State Bulldogs (Feb. 20-23). The Waves will then return to Malibu to host Yale in the first home series of the year (Feb. 27-March 1).

In March, the Waves will play their first of three games against Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on March 3 at 5 p.m. Pepperdine will then host Michigan for a three-game set (March 5-7) before traveling to CSUN for a single game (March 9). The Waves return home to host UMass-Lowell (March 12-14) before traveling to UCLA (March 17) for a matchup with the Bruins off the heels of their College World Series appearance.

Pepperdine will kick off West Coast Conference play at defending conference champion Saint Mary's (March 20-22). A five-game home stand against Washington (March 24), San Diego (March 27-29) and CSUN (March 31) wraps up the month of March.

"Opening up on the road at 2025 NCAA tournament teams in USC and Fresno State will test us before opening up a three-weekend non-conference schedule versus Yale, Michigan, and UMass-Lowell before starting West Coast Conference play," LaTorre said.

To begin April, the Waves take their first of two out-of-state road trips with a series at Gonzaga (April 2-4). Pepperdine returns to California to play at CSUN on April 7 before hosting Pacific (April 10-12). Then, the Waves take a four-game road swing, starting with a game at Cal Poly (April 14) before taking on in-city rival LMU (April 17-19). Pepperdine hosts Cal Poly on April 21, then heads to Seattle for the first West Coast Conference series between the two teams (April 24-26).

May begins with a home series against San Francisco (May 1-3) before the Waves face UC Santa Barbara on May 5. Senior Day will take place during the final home series against Portland (May 8-10) before the Waves wrap up the regular season at Santa Clara (May 14-16).

The top six teams in the conference standings will compete in the West Coast Conference Baseball Championships, which will be held May 20-23. A location has not been determined.
