Men’s Volleyball Unveils 2026 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. –  The Pepperdine men's volleyball team released the slate for the 2026 season, head coach Jonathan Winder announced Friday afternoon.

"The standard is always going to be the standard," head coach Jonathan Winder said. "We are playing a really tough schedule. We are going to play every top team in the country."

With 28 matches on the schedule, Pepperdine will be home for over half of the year with 15 matches in Malibu.

Opening the campaign with a four-match home stretch, the Waves will kick off the final season in Firestone Fieldhouse against the University of Calgary as an exhibition match before officially opening the 2026 season against St. Thomas Aquinas College, Daemen College, and UC Irvine.

The first road trip of the year is highlighted by an elite eight rematch against the Ramblers of Loyola Chicago. After facing Lewis, Pepperdine is back in Malibu to take on reigning National Champions Long Beach State Jan. 30.

"We have lots of exciting home matches, which I think is important for us to build off of the momentum we had from last season and the amazing atmosphere we had in Firestone," Winder said.

Seven matches in February are spotlighted three home matches, including the first conference matchup against Vanguard in their second season as members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

Headed to the Aloha state to begin the eight-match slate in March, the Waves will play the Rainbow Warriors of Hawai'i March 4 and 6. Closing the month in Provo, Utah against BYU, the Waves hit the stride of conference play entering April.

With the last match in Firestone Fieldhouse against USC, the Waves will look to keep momentum building through the final regular season match April 18 for the conference tournament at BYU April 22-25.

Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Single game tickets will become available at a later date.
