Additionally, her faith and competitiveness will contribute tremendously to our team culture! Welcome to Malibu Kenzi!"
Â
McSpadden, originally from Parker, Colo., went to Lutheran High School before competing for the Missouri State Bears beach volleyball team.

While in high school, McSpadden was a three-year varsity starter and won three league and district championships. She also garnered All-Metro first team, All-District first team, All-State honorable mention honors and was on the academic honor roll.
Â
After redshirting for Missouri State in 2023, McSpadden collected an 11-3 record during the 2024 season for the Bears. She was also on the Missouri State Athletic Director's honor roll and the Conference USA Commissioner's honor roll.
Â
McSpadden has also played for the LAB One club team for four years. Additionally, she is a three-time USAV National Qualifier, a top-ten USAV national finisher and an AVP national qualifier.Â
Â
"I chose Pepperdine for the challenging academics and athletics as well as the location of the school," said McSpadden. "Pepperdine has so many great professors as well as coaches that I know will make me a better student athlete. The location of the school is also incredible, and I love how close it is to the ocean."
