LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Pepperdine women's golf team finished The Show at Spanish Trail on Tuesday afternoon, ending the tournament held at the par-72, 6,537-yard Spanish Trail Country Club tied for fourth with a score of 876 (291-287-298). 
 
The Waves finished 36 holes yesterday in third-place, four shots out of the lead, but a 10-over final round dropped them down a spot by the end of the tournament.  UCLA and SMU tied for first with scores of 858, while the Bruins' Zoe Campos ended with the individual title after amassing a 209.   
 
Jeneath Wong led the Waves with a second-place finish, marking the best finish of her career thus far.  It is her sixth top-10 and ninth top-20 finish.  Her 212 was only three shots away from the lead.
 
PLAYER SCORES

• Sophomore Jeneath Wong (Melbourne, Australia) posted a 212 (70-68-74) to tie for second.  She had three birdies in the round today and led the team with 10 birdies overall this weekend.  She led all competitors at the tournament in par five scoring, averaging 4.42 (-7) on those holes. 
• Junior Lauren Gomez (Murrieta, Calif.) finished tied for 21^st with a score of 221 (72-70-79).  She marked two birdies today, one in each half of the day, while finishing with nine overall.
• Senior Lion Higo (Gold Coast, Australia) tied for 27^th with a three-round total of 223 (73-75-75).  She also posted two birdies in the round today and eight overall.
• Senior Kaleiya Romero (San Jose, Calif.) also tied for 27^th with a 223 (76-76-71).  She had the Waves' best round of the day, finishing with three birdies.  Overall, she amassed five birdies and an eagle.  Romero led Pepperdine after making par on 36 of her 54 holes.
• Sophomore Yingzhi Zhu (Nanjing, China) tallied a 232 (70-74-78) to tie for 61^st.  She had three birdies on the back nine today and posted five throughout the tournament.  She tied for the tournament-high in par three scoring, having finished with a 2.75 (-3) scoring average on those holes.
