MALIBU, Calif. — Pepperdine women's basketball standout, three-time Olympian and former WNBA player Miranda Ayim will be inducted officially into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame on March 2. The luncheon/ceremony will begin at noon.

The ceremony will take place Saturday, March 2 in the Jones Trophy Room before the women's basketball team's Senior Day game against Saint Mary's. Check-in and a luncheon will begin at noon. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. Additionally, Pepperdine women's basketball alumnae are invited to stay afterward for a dessert reception in the Jones Trophy Room at 3 p.m.

Those interested in the complimentary event must register here by Feb. 26.

Ayim was officially elected into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018, however, Ayim's professional commitments pushed back her official recognition. The Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame was established in 1980 and includes 131 individuals, 14 teams and eight special achievement recipients that have already been enshrined. To be eligible for induction, nominees must have competed, coached for, or rendered an extraordinary service to Pepperdine University Athletics.
