MALIBU – Several Waves recorded season highs as the Pepperdine men's basketball team rolled Life Pacific to a final score of 119-57 on Wednesday night.

The 119 points is the most scored by the Waves (3-6) in a countable contest since 2008 (118-76 over Hope International on Jan. 8, 2008) and is the largest margin of victory in Pepperdine men's basketball history, eclipsing a 53-point win over Long Beach State in 1954.

BIG WAVES
  • Stefan Todorovic (Begrade, Serbia/SMU/USF) had 16 points on 6-of-11 field goal shooting while pulling down four rebounds and dishing out three assists.
  • Zion Bethea (South Orange, N.J./Delaware) also had 16 points while going 50% from long range and gathering four rebounds, five assists and four steals.
  • Dovydas Butka (Panevezys, Lithuania) contributed 15 points on 7-of-11 FG shooting, five rebounds and three assists.
  • Alonso Faure (Busot, Spain/Loyola Maryland) garnered his first double-double of the season at 12 points and 10 boards.

RECAP
The first half was all Waves starting with a Todorovic layup right off the tip. Pepperdine enjoyed a .526 field goal clip throughout the first 20 minutes and went 36% from beyond the arc while almost doubling the Warriors' rebounds at a count of 27-14. The Waves were able to lead in almost every category, as Bethea and Todorovic led the home team in scoring with 11 each and helping them to a 55-27 lead heading into halftime.

Pepperdine kept the same steam rolling in the second half as Butka started things off with a fastbreak dunk. The Waves went on a 14-0 run spanning four minutes of play and hit the century mark with five minutes to go. The Pepperdine bigs went on a roll to finish off the Warriors at a final buzzer of 119-57.
