PALO ALTO, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's golf team wrapped up the second round at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Saturday, shooting a 289 today. The Waves are currently in 13th place.

Yingzhi Zhu and Nishna Patel lead the Waves after 36-holes. They are both 4-over and tied for 39th.

Stanford has the team lead, and the Cardinal are 9-under after two rounds. USC is four-strokes behind in second. Texas, Arizona State and Virginia round out the top five.

PLAYER SCORES

Junior Yingzhi Zhu (Nanjing, China) is tied for 39th after posting a second-round score of 72, which included one birdie. She currently sits at 4-over for the tournament.
Senior Lauren Gomez (Murrieta, Calif.) is also tied for 39th, and she also tallied one birdie today.
Junior Jeneath Wong (Melbourne, Australia) is tied for 44th with a two-round combined score of 5-over. She had two birdies today, with only one bogey on the day.
Freshman Nishna Patel (Mumbai, India) is 6-over and tied for 49th. Patel collected birdies on hole-7 and hole-12.
Freshman Grace Anderson (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) shot a 75 today and is currently 10-over and tied for 69th. She earned one birdie today.
