PALO ALTO, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's golf team finished the Stanford Intercollegiate this afternoon. The Waves finished in 10th after posting an 874 (298-289-287).

Lauren Gomez led the way for the Waves with a three-round score of 215 (74-72-69).

Stanford and USC tied for first with a three-round score of 834. The Cardinal shot (273-286-275) while the Trojans shot (280-283-271) during their three rounds this weekend. Texas rounded out the top three.

PLAYER SCORES

Senior Lauren Gomez (Murrieta, Calif.) finished tied for 26th after she notched a 215 (74-72-69). She posted a 2-under 69 with five birdies in her final round.
Junior Yingzhi Zhu (Nanjing, China) finished tied for 36th after she posted a 218 (74-72-72). Zhu tallied two birdies today and four on the week.
Junior Jeneath Wong (Melbourne, Australia) also earned a score of 218 (77-70-71). Wong shot even par in her last round but was able to collect three birdies and one eagle over her last 18 holes.
Freshman Nishna Patel (Mumbai, India) tallied a 227 (73-75-79) on the weekend and finished tied for 70th. Patel amassed four birdies during the tournament.
Freshman Grace Anderson (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) also tied for 70th with a total score of 227 (77-75-75). Anderson tabbed four birdies this weekend.
