Men's Volleyball Announces 2025 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. — The schedule is set for this season as head coach of the Pepperdine men's volleyball team, Jonathan Winder, announced. The Waves released their slate of matches for 2025 today.
The squad will host 19 matches in Firestone Fieldhouse, 15 non-conference, and four in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
The Waves ended the 2024 season ranked fifth in the MPSF conference, and tenth in AVCA polls, making it to the quarterfinal of post-season conference play, with a 17-11 overall record, going 5-7 in MPSF matches.
The fall exhibition schedule includes matchups against The Master's, Concordia, Long Beach, UCSD, and Vanguard at the Long Beach Tournament on October 26th. On November 2nd, the Waves will head to USC to play the Trojans, Vanguard, The Master's, Stanford, Concordia, and CSUN. Pepperdine will then head to Santa Barbara for a pair of matches against the Gauchos on November 9th. Rounding out the fall schedule will be the Fresno State Invite where Pepperdine will play Long Beach, Stanford, Menlo College, and The Master's on November 16th.
Right before the start of the season, there will be three matches in January hosted by Long Beach State where Pepperdine will play McMaster, Trinity Western, and the University of Saskatchewan on January 4-5th.
Pepperdine will host 11 non-conference matches throughout January and February before heading to their first road match in Santa Barbara where they will take on the Gauchos on February 14th. UC Santa Barbara will travel to Malibu the next day to close out the stretch of non-conference play for a match on February 15th.
Pepperdine will open MPSF play against Grand Canyon, playing two matches against the 'Lopes in one week (Feb 27 & 28). The Waves will then travel to Stanford to continue MPSF play (March 14 & 15) before hosting a pair of mid-season non-conference matches against Menlo College (March 21 & 22). Pepperdine will continue conference actions with matches against UCLA (March 27 & 29), USC (April 3 & 5), and BYU (April 18 & 19) before preparing for the MPSF Tournament.
