MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine baseball team fell 10-0 in game two of the three-game West Coast Conference series against Loyola Marymount on Saturday afternoon at Eddy D. Field Stadium.
The Waves (18-27,7-16) and Lions (25-21,17-6) were scoreless after the first two innings, but LMU broke it open in the top of the third.

- Junior outfielder Connor Bradshaw (New Rochelle, N.Y./Trinity-Pawling HS) was 2-for-3 on the day.
- Junior shortstop John Peck (Moorpark, Calif./Moorpark HS) had one hit on the day.
GAME RECAP
The Lions got on the board first in the top of the third inning on a two-run homer to left. In the top of the fourth inning, LMU added two more runs on two hits. LMU picked up two more runs in the top of the fifth inning on a ground ball to second, 5-0.
In the top of the sixth, LMU added two more to their lead on a double and a single, 7-0. The Lions grabbed two more runs in the top of the seventh on a two-run home run. In the top of the eighth inning, LMU brought around one run to make it 10-0.
In the bottom of the ninth, the Waves had a man on with one out, but a ground ball double-play ended the inning.

The Waves will play the series finale with LMU on Sunday, May 13. Prior to first pitch, Pepperdine will honor its seven seniors. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the game will be streamed live on the WCC Network.
