Pepperdine has never lost to Saint Mary's, going a perfect 28-0 against the Gaels since the first meeting in 1996. The Waves have swept the last two meetings between the schools in 2021 and 2022.

SCOUTING THE WAVES
Pepperdine went 2-0 last Saturday in their only two matches of the week, sweeping LMU 4-0 before winning a tight 4-3 match against #28 Cal at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center. Eero Vasa provided the clinch in both matches, while #62 Daniel De Jonge won his 50th career singles match in the LMU match. Following play on Saturday, De Jonge was named the WCC singles player of the week while he and Tim Zeitvogel were named the league's doubles team of the week. Freshman Maxi Homberg leads Pepperdine with eight dual singles wins, while he and Vasa lead the squad with seven doubles wins this spring. Zeitvogel is ranked 79th by the ITA in singles, while he and De Jonge are 58th in the latest doubles rankings.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Pacific struggled in non-conference play, losing seven of their 10 non-WCC matches. In conference action, Pacific has lost to San Diego and Santa Clara with a win over San Francisco sandwiched in between. Terrance Das leads the Tigers with a 6-2 record in singles, winning his last five matches from the second and third positions in the lineup. Peter Alam also has six singles wins, all from the top spot.

Saint Mary's lost its first seven matches of the season to Division I opponents but has rebounded with back-to-back WCC wins, defeating San Francisco 4-1 and Santa Clara 4-3 last weekend. Carlos Ramos Membrives leads the Gaels with a 6-2 singles record from the third, fourth and fifth spots.
