Enrique Luque Rico will be honored as part of the Senior Day ceremony prior to Saturday's match.

SERIES HISTORY: Pepperdine leads the all-time series with San Francisco 23-2, including an 11-0 record in Malibu. The last meeting hosted by the Waves came in 2020, where Pepperdine was victorious 4-2.
Pepperdine is a sparkling 24-1 against Santa Clara. The only loss to the Broncos occurred in Malibu in 2018. The Waves have shut out Santa Clara in the last two outings, not having surrendered a point since 2019.

SCOUTING THE WAVES: Pepperdine went 1-1 last weekend, defeating BYU 4-1 on the road before suffering its first WCC loss of the season on Saturday, falling 4-1 at #22 San Diego. The Waves took the doubles point on a clinch from
Daniel De Jonge and
Eero Vasa to defeat the #9 doubles team in the country but were unable to carry that momentum into singles. In the latest edition of the ITA individual rankings, the Waves are represented by #20 De Jonge, #59

Pietro Fellin, #99
Andrew Rogers and #74 De Jonge/Vasa which represents the first doubles ranking of the season for the Waves.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS: San Francisco has split its first six conference matches and is jockeying for a berth in the upcoming WCC Tournament. After taking on Santa Clara and Pepperdine this week, the Dons will close out WCC play at LMU on Saturday. Most recently, the Dons split a weekend in a similar fashion as Pepperdine, defeating BYU before falling at San Diego. No Dons are ranked by the ITA in singles or doubles.
Santa Clara has lost four of its five matches in April, with the only victory in that stretch coming at BYU on April 9. The Broncos are also looking to secure a berth to the upcoming WCC Tournament. They dropped a non-conference, midweek match against Cal Poly last Wednesday. After taking on USF and Pepperdine, Santa Clara will finish the regular season at LMU on Sunday. No Broncos are ranked by the ITA, but Guillaume Dalmasso is 11-4 this dual season playing from the top three positions.
