ST. PAUL, Minnesota. – The Pepperdine men's and women's cross country teams completed their first race in Minnesota at the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday morning. This meet was the first for the Waves east of Arizona and the second-farthest meet the team has traveled to since 2008 (Big Wave Invitational in Kane'Ohe, Hawaii).
Senior
Karl Winter continued to be the leader of the men's team for a third time this season in the men's 8K with a time of 25:54.9. Senior
Kyle McCabe was nearly side-by-side with Winter, with a time of 25:59.2. The women were led for the first time by freshman
Megan LaCamera in the women's 6K with a time of 23:51.7.
The men finished 15th out of 21 teams overall, while the women finished 21st out of 21 teams.
