She is the 17
th overall pick for the honor in Pepperdine history.
The recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine recorded a 3.96 overall GPA for her career in Malibu while playing at the No. 1 spot for the Waves most of the year.
Lahey helped lead the Waves to a runner-up finish in the 2021 NCAA Championships in a run that ultimately began with a clinch point over Stanford in the second round. While playing doubles with
Lisa Zaar, the pair went 3-2 while snatching the doubles clinch point over then-#4 UCLA which snowballed into a 4-3 win for the Waves in the tournament quarterfinals.
