QUOTABLE
Pepperdine Coach
Tim Ward: "First of all, I think Nat Gonzales and his program are first class. I think they are going to do very well this fall.
For our part, we thought our Waves played brilliantly tonight. Although we went behind early on a PK call, we responded with not only a real fire, but real quality with our soccer. So many great performances from so many Waves, but I think
Tabitha LaParl and Juliana Duckett were massively impressive for us this evening. Tabi got her first collegiate goal and got us back in the game while Jules just anchored down the base of our midfield like a pro.
Overall, everyone who stepped on the field for us tonight played beautifully."
