MALIBU, Calif. – The fourth-ranked Pepperdine women's tennis squad blanked #13 Oklahoma State 4-0 on Friday afternoon following a Taisiya Pachkaleva clinch point.

The #4 Waves won their second-straight doubles point on courts two and three, seening the pair of Pachkaleva and Lisa Zaar deliver the first blow on three, 6-0. Ashley Lahey and Nikki Redelijk clinched the point for Pepperdine, going 6-2 over the Cowgirl pair of Driya Detkovskaya and Lenka Stara.
In singles, the Waves earned three straight wins on courts four, five and six for the Pepperdine sweep. Redelijk defeated Stara on court six, 6-0, 6-4 for the first Pepp point, as Zaar followed on court five, taking a 6-4, 6-1 win over OSU's Daniella Medvedeva.
Freshman and 88th-ranked Pachkaleva delivered the final blow for the Waves, roping Detkovskaya 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 on court four, putting the final score at 4-0 in favor of Pepperdine.
The first three courts went unfinished, but not without adding some drama to the afternoon. #33 Jessica Failla was in the middle of a tie-break on her second set, as both she and #105 Alana Wolfberg had a point apiece.
Top-ranked Lahey pushed her match into three sets after falling 6-4 in the first but storming back 6-0 in the second, while #12 Shiori Fukuda was in route to win split her match at a set apiece at 5-7, 4-1.
