STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's basketball game fell to Pacific on Saturday in Stockton 61-45.
Malia Bambrick led the Waves with 15 points, and was the only Wave in double digits.
The Tigers (5-4, 3-3 WCC) outscored the Waves (3-6, 0-5 WCC) in every quarter of the game.

- Junior guard Malia Bambrick
- Junior guard Cheyenne Givens (Gardena, Calif./LA Trade Tech) had nine points, and had four steals.
- Senior forward Monique Andriuolo (Melbourne, Australia/Maribyrnong Secondary College) led the game with 10 rebounds. She also had a block during the game.
PLAY-BY-PLAY
The first quarter was a back-and-forth affair, with the lead changing eight different times. Bambrick scored 10 of her 15 points in the quarter, including both three-pointers she made.
However, the Tigers took a 17-14 lead into the second quarter. The Waves tied the game at 17 in the second, but Pacific took the lead at 20-17 and did not relinquish the lead again, leading 28-23 at the half.
The Waves got to within one possession in the middle of the third quarter, but never again got within three points, as the Tigers extended their lead throughout the second half.

- The Tigers outshot the Waves 35% to 30%.
- Pacific also controlled the glass, bringing down 40 rebounds compared to Pepperdine's 31.
- The Tigers shot 50% from beyond the arc, while keeping the Waves to just 18% from deep.
