MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine men's tennis team will make the trek to Minneapolis, Minnesota this weekend for a showdown with the 29
th-ranked Gophers on Sunday.

ON THE GOPHERS
Minnesota stands 6-2 with their two losses coming by the way of Ivy Leagues Harvard and Dartmouth. The Gophers' most recent match resulted in a 7-0 win over UCSB, who Pepperdine defeated 4-3 two weeks ago. #67 Stefan Milicevic is the only ranked Gopher.
All-time, Pepperdine stands 10-1 with Minnesota, as their last meeting in 2010 resulted in a 4-3 loss for the Waves. The two teams have not played each other since. Last season, the Gophers finished 16-10 and earned a bid into the NCAA Tournament, where they fell 4-1 to the likes of the West Coast Conference's San Diego.

Over the weekend, the Waves kept their record clean of any blemishes as they routed Cal Poly 6-1 and Fresno State 4-0. In the wins, sophomore

Adrian Oetzbach remained undefeated as Zeitvogel went 3-6, 7-5, 10-4 against the Mustangs and 6-0, 7-6 against the Bulldogs while Oetzbach defeated his Cal Poly foe 6-2, 7-6 and went unfinished vs Fresno State, 7-6, 3-2.
Corrado Summaria remains the only Wave included in the ITA rankings this week at #69 in the country.
