Pepperdine Coach Sylvia Mosqueda said: "Today's race at Capital Challenge was a tough field for both the men and women but they did well. This is where we need to be right now. My goal for these athletes is to have their big race at conference and then do their thing at regionals."
Â
"On the women's side, Cori Persinger had a stellar race to lead the Waves today. The ladies are looking good and it will all come together for their conference meet. As their coach I know when I need to have them ready for their peak performance, I just need to keep all of them healthy and ready to go when it counts."Â
