MALIBU, Calif. - The Pepperdine men's tennis team hosted #16 Florida State on Monday at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center, falling 4-0 after a hard-fought battle.
Three of the Waves (2-9) took their matches with the Seminoles (16-1) to three sets before the match was clinched on another court.

During doubles competition, Dane Esses and Lautaro Pane gave the #74 pairing of Aziz Dougaz and Guy Iradukunda a battle, the set getting to 3-3 before the doubles point was clinched on another court. Florida State won on courts two and three to take the doubles point and head into singles with the lead.
The Waves started off strong in singles, with Max Mendelsohn and Yusuf Khamis both winning their first sets and Brian Berdusco pushing his first set to a tiebreak. All three of their matches went unfinished as the match was clinched. The Seminoles picked up match win on courts one, two and six to take the match 4-0.
