Women's Soccer Earns Academic Award

MALIBU, California – For the seventh time in program history, the Pepperdine women's soccer team earned a Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches for its excellent work in the classroom.
The Waves posted a cumulative 3.33 grade-point average during the 2017-18 school year, one of 484 college teams to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Under head coach Tim Ward, the Waves were previously honored in 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
Pepperdine (6-6, 1-1) has its West Coast Conference home opener on Friday (Oct. 5) when the Waves host San Francisco at 3 p.m.
