Head coach Robert Radnoti said: "This course has become a regular spot for us because it's in the rotation for the NCAA West Regional. We'll be back here for that next year so this was a good opportunity for our young runners to see the course. It was a beautiful day, a little warm, but a nice course. Things are on track and I'm pleased with our progress.
"Nick is getting stronger with each race after missing some early-season training, and Kevin was under 25 minutes again. They'll both be healthy and at their strongest by the end of the season. One positive note was Jalen and Justin, our third and fourth runners, they ran together for a good portion of the race and helped each other.
"The women had some good performances but we're still trying to get to where we want to be. Tatum, our #5 runner, did really well considering she has to train by herself because of her 8 a.m. classes, so she's missed a lot of team practices."
