The Waves answered with an RBI single in the second from Aharon Modlin (Irvine, Calif./Woodbridge HS), and a two-run home run in the fifth from Quincy McAfee (Houston, Texas/Westside HS), his third on the year. From that point on, it was all Tigers, scoring eight more runs to Pepperdine's two to take the second game by a score of 11-5.
Max Gamboa (Mill Valley, Calif./Tamalpais HS) started for the Waves in the second game, taking a no decision after throwing just three innings in his shortest outing of the year.
