MALIBU, Calif. -- The Pepperdine Women's Basketball team fell to LMU on Saturday, 87-78. Allie Green led the Waves with 30 points in her final game at Firestone Fieldhouse.

Green made seven of the ten three-pointers for the Waves, shooting .538 from beyond the arc. The Waves were also without sophomore standout Yasmine Robinson-Bacote in the second half after she left in the first half with an injury.

Pepperdine falls to 7-20, and 5-11 in West Coast Conference play on the year, while LMU improves to 13-14, with an even 8-8 WCC record.

Leading up to the fourth quarter, the Waves led throughout the entire game, at one point leading by as many as nine points. While Green led the way for the Waves in the scoring column, Barbara Sitanggan and Robinson-Bacote each had 11 points, and Sydney Bordonaro had 12, hitting both of her three-point attempts in the game.

The Lions scored 29 points in the fourth quarter and used a 15-2 run to come back and take the lead.

Green hit a career high seven three-point shots, and scored 30 or more points for the third time in her career in her final showing at home. The senior has a career 11.3 points per game average and became the 22nd player in school history to score 1,000 career points earlier this year.

The leading scorer for the Lions was Jackie Johnson, who had a game-high 31 points.

The Waves hit the road next week for the final two games of the regular season. The take on St. Mary's on Thursday at 7 p.m. and San Francisco on Saturday at 2 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on theW.tv.
