May 16, 2016 MALIBU, Calif. " Three teams remain in action, two currently in the postseason and one looking to join them with another successful weekend. The baseball team hosts Pacific in its regular-season and home finales this weekend, while the women's tennis team has moved on to the NCAA Round of 16 in Oklahoma and the men's golf team is competing at an NCAA Regional in Tennessee.

BASEBALL
Tuesday: at Cal State Northridge (Northridge, Calif.), 3 p.m.
Friday: vs. Pacific (Eddy D. Field Stadium), 3 p.m.
Saturday: vs. Pacific (Eddy D. Field Stadium), 1 p.m.
Sunday: vs. Pacific (Eddy D. Field Stadium), 1 p.m.
Tickets: Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for children and students. Tickets are free for Pepperdine students, faculty and staff with a valid Pepperdine ID.

The baseball team closes out the regular season this week looking to secure a spot in the WCC Tournament. The Waves face CSUN on the road in a midweek non-conference matchup and then welcome Pacific for a three-game WCC series starting on Friday. The Waves currently sit in fourth place in the conference standings and need two wins, or a win and a San Diego loss, to secure a spot in the postseason tournament. The Waves are also two games back of Gonzaga for the WCC title and would need a sweep (plus help) to possibly win the regular-season crown. With Sunday being the final home game of the regular season, Pepperdine will honor its three seniors, Brad Anderson, Evan Dunn and Chris Fornaci, before the game.
WOMEN'S TENNIS
Thursday: vs. Texas (Tulsa, Okla.), 2 p.m. PT

The #8 women's tennis team advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen with victories over Idaho and #20 USC this past weekend at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center. The Waves' appearance in the round of 16 will be the 15th all-time and first since the 1999 campaign. To open play in Tulsa, the team will go up against #24 Texas on Thursday. With a Waves' win, a quarterfinal match against either #1 California or #16 Texas Tech will be played on Saturday. The semifinals are May 23 and the championship is on May 24. The Waves head into Tulsa at 23-2 overall.
MEN'S GOLF

The men's golf team is the #7 seed at an NCAA Regional being held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The Waves must finish in the top five to advance to the NCAA Championships. Pepperdine has posted a school-record-tying nine top-five finishes this season. The lineup includes Frederick Wedel, Sahith Theegala, Roy Cootes, Robbie Geibel and Cody McManus. This is Pepperdine's 21st NCAA Regional appearance in 25 years, and the Waves are hoping to advance to nationals for the ninth time.
