2015 Schedule | WCC Release

MALIBU, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has released the full 2015-16 women's basketball schedule and Pepperdine will open play at home on Monday, December 21 against Gonzaga. It is the earliest ever start to a conference season for the Waves.

Pepperdine hosts defending conference champs Gonzaga on Dec. 21 and then stays home to take on Portland on Dec. 23 for a two-game WCC season-opening homestand. After eight days off, the Waves will head down the road to take on LMU in a PCH Cup rivalry game on Jan. 2.

The Waves stay on the road following the LMU game, heading to Pacific (Jan. 7) and Saint Mary's (Jan. 9). Pepperdine then alternates between home and away weeks following that.

The Waves' remaining home games are against Santa Clara (Jan. 14), San Francisco (Jan. 16), San Diego (Jan. 28), BYU (Jan. 30), Saint Mary's (Feb. 11), Pacific (Feb. 13) and LMU (Feb. 27). Pepperdine's matchup with LMU will be the final game of the regular season.

The team's remaining road games are at San Diego (Jan. 21), BYU (Jan. 23), Portland (Feb. 4), Gonzaga (Feb. 6), San Francisco (Feb. 18) and Santa Clara (Feb. 20).

The 18-game WCC slate comes on the heels of a challenging 11-game non-conference lineup in which the Waves play four home-games and seven road contests. Pepperdine will also host a pair of exhibitions to start the 2015-16 season. The team will open the regular-season on Nov. 13 at Army.

All home games will be streamed live through WaveCasts on TheW.tv and all road games will have an audio-only broadcast on WaveCasts as well.

The Waves are in the midst of a rebuilding process and look to make a significant leap forward in the WCC this season after upping their win total in each of the last two seasons. Pepperdine returns three of its five starters from last season and brings in a very talented seven-player recruiting class.
