2015-16 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. - Pepperdine Women's Basketball Head Coach Ryan Weisenberg released the Waves' 2015-16 non-conference slate this week and it will feature an appearance in the Great Alaska Shootout, a trip to the East Coast and four home games.

Pepperdine has a total of 11 non-conference games scheduled before the start of WCC play on Dec. 21. The full WCC slate will be released later this month.

The Waves open play on the road, traveling east to take on Army on Nov. 13. The Waves then stay in New York to take on Albany on Nov. 15, before stopping in Las Vegas on the way home for a Nov. 17 matchup with UNLV.

The season-opening road trip will be followed by the Waves' home-opener against Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 20. Pepperdine then gets right back on the road, heading north for the Great Alaska Shootout in Anchorage. The Waves will be joined at the shootout by George Mason, Western Kentucky and tournament host Alaska-Anchorage.

After returning from Alaska, the Waves have a three-game homestand against UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 29), Cal Poly (Dec. 2) and Denver (Dec. 5). Non-conference play concludes with games at Cal State Bakersfield (Dec. 8) and New Mexico (Dec. 12).

Home games against UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly come against familiar opponents as the Waves scored wins over both programs last season. The Waves' trip to Army and Albany comes after hosting the two teams in Malibu last year as well.
