STILLWATER, Okla. - The #49-ranked Pepperdine men's tennis team fell 4-0 to #32 Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon inside the Greenwood Tennis Center. The Cowboys, who have yet to loses a match at home at 9-0, improve to 12-3 overall. The Waves move to 8-6.

Although Luca Marquard (Bensheim, Germany/Goeth Gymnasium Bensheim) and Lautaro Pane (Puerto Madryn, Argentina/SEADEA) were in firm control of their doubles match at No. 3, OSU overpowered the Waves at No.1 and No. 2.

Coming off an impressive 6-4 win over Memphis' #55-ranked Connor Glennon and Kai Lemke, #79 Guilherme Hadlich (Balneário Camboriú, Brazil/Colégio Energia) and Rakshay Thakkar (Pune, India/St. Vincent's High School) were unable to walk away victorious again today. The Pepperdine pair fell to #14-ranked Jakob Sude and Arjun Kadhe, 6-2.

Lucas Gerch and Nicolai Ferrigno won at No. 2 to secure the point.

The Cowboys and Waves split the first sets in the six singles matches, but OSU was able to put away three contests in straight sets before Pepperdine could score.

Hadlich, Thakkar and Marquard had all won a set, but were unable to complete their matches before the home side had clinched the dual.

The Waves look to rebound next weekend when they travel to the Pacific Northwest for West Coast Conference matches against Gonzaga (March 20) and Portland (March 21). Pepperdine returns to Malibu on Tuesday, March 24 to host Washington.
