ORLANDO, Fla. - The Pepperdine men's tennis team finished the 2015 USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational hosted by Florida State at ESPN Wide World of Sports this Sunday afternoon, bringing home a doubles championship, a singles championship and singles runners-up honors after hard work on the court.

Lautaro Pane (Puerto Madryn, Argentina/SEADEA) highlighted the day for the Waves with a garnet bracket singles and doubles championship under his belt, after first besting Penn State's No. 1 seeded Tomas Hanzlik in commanding fashion after a 6-0, 6-1 domination.

Pane then turned around to compete in the garnet doubles championship alongside partner Pedro Iamachkine (Lima, Peru/Nebraska HS) against Louisville's No. 3 seeded duo Sean Donohue and Christopher Morin, 8-3.

Pepperdine closed up the day with the gold bracket doubles championship match, with No. 2 seeded Guilherme Hadlich (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Avanço) and Gabriel Sidney (Curitiba, Parana, Brazil/Anglo Americano) taking on the No. 3 seeded pair out of Florida State, Jose Gracia and Marco Nunez. The Waves fell just short after a hard-fought battle, dropping the match for runners-up status with a 8-4 final mark.
