Pepperdine's Lodge Shatters Personal Best In 1500m

Lodge's previous best of 4:38.32 (a Pepperdine school record) was established earlier this spring at the Cal Poly Invitational.
Head coach Robert Radnoti said this performance will set her up for faster races in the steeplechase as she approaches championship season. The goal is to qualify Lodge in the steeplechase for the NCAA West Regionals on the weekend of May 26 and 27; however, it is unknown at this time where and when her next race will take place.
A last chance qualifying meet for many, the Occidental Invitational drew more than 950 athletes, ranging in talent from high school to Olympian with every category in between represented.
