WCC Rivals to Battle at West Coast Track Challenge

The double-dual scoring meet starts at 10 a.m. and features just about every running event from the 100 to 3,000-meters plus hurdles, and the distance medley and 1,600-meter relays. With nothing but races on the agenda, and warm weather in the forecast, Pepperdine coach Robert Radnoti is expecting a fast and well-run meet both on and off the track.
“The sprinters especially should thrive in the weather were supposed to have and I think more school and track records will be broken as a result,” he said. “We’re very excited to be hosting this meet against our WCC rivals and anyone in attendance can expect to see a good competition.”
The last race is scheduled to end at 1:30 p.m., which will give those spectators plenty of time to arrive at Saturday’s men’s basketball regular season finale vs.

“I think by having all these records fall so early in the season, it’s going to bode well for us come the end of the year,” Radnoti said. “And the team scoring atmosphere – with everyone cheering on each other in the background – will encourage even better performances from all the teams.”
