Begemann Wins First Pro Tournament

ROMBERG, Germany—Former Pepperdine tennis standout Andre Begemann, won the 2008 Romberg Open Buddeberg-Cup on Sunday (June 13), at the Romberg Tennis Club.
“This is a great start for him,” said Pepperdine Head Coach Adam Steinberg. “To go out and win on red clay when he’s not use to playing on it is quite an accomplishment. His scores were very impressive and we’re all very happy for him.”

“I was really happy with how I played,” said Begemann. “I wish I played that well at the NCAA’s.”
